My name is Dr. Rose Jeans and I’m a medical doctor in Burlington, Ontario. I’m setting up this blog to provide a forum to discuss medical cosmetic treatments.
A couple of years ago, I was sliding into middle age and really looking my age, if not older. I was busy with my work, which included working in Cardiac and Plastic Surgery, and knew that I didn’t want to have surgery to improve my appearance but didn’t know what else was out there that really worked.
When I discovered medical cosmetic treatments and realised how much could be achieved without surgery or other risks, I wanted every treatment available. Since that time, I have experienced the benefits of these treatments and really turned back the clock on my appearance. I believe in these treatments so much that I have opened my own medical spa, called Advanced Rejuvenation.
The website for Advanced Rejuvenation contains a lot of information about the treatments, before and after pictures and so forth. I’m the type of person who likes facts, scientific research, evidence (I’m a bit of a nerd, to tell the truth) and I really like teaching so I felt that I needed something more than just the website, in order to help people understand how this stuff works. I hope that you will ask me questions about the treatments so that I can talk about the aspects that you are interested in, rather than what I think you want to know.
From time to time, my wonderful staff, Lauren, Laura, Michele and Claire, will weigh in on our topics, sharing their experiences or answering questions.
